DJ AMBITION "DAT BOI BE ROLLIN"
Christian Whitt, known as DJ Ambition, was born the youngest of two siblings to Paul and Opering. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and has Cerebral Palsy, a condition that can cause mild – severe physical limitations. Having Cerebral Palsy didn’t stop him from pursuing something he knew he could do.
MTV's hip-hop week inspired him to dive into DJing full throttle. Ed Lover hosted a DJ battle between Grandmaster Flash and Jam Master Jay back in 1999—early 2000. Even though DJ was watching through the TV, it felt like he was there. The energy was INCREDIBLE. He was dancing in his wheelchair in front of the TV. That’s when he knew this was something he could do and be good at.
His nieces and nephews keep him motivated. Those babies ALWAYS enjoy him playing their favorite songs so they can dance. DJing inspires those babies to follow their dreams no matter what. DJ wants them to know that no matter what, they are able to achieve anything they desire. There is no lack, no limitation.
